Welcome to the New York Transportation Survey! This is the place where New Yorkers -- whether they take the 1, 6, Q, F, B44, BQE, LIE, LIR, Teconic, Triborough, Hudson Valley Lines and even the Williamsburg Bridge bike path -- can find out candidates' positions on critical transportation issues that affect our daily commutes, our health, our neighborhoods, our environment and our pocket books.

The purpose of this project is to make transportation a central issue in the 2010 elections, to educate citizens on the role that government plays in moving people around, and to help voters make informed choices when they go to the polls. The New York Transportation Survey is a joint project of Transportation Alternatives and The Tri-State Transportation Campaign.
